A Paean to Narration, or Narrative Paths of Educating to Values
The paper deals with the narrative method as a possible way of educating to values. The story and its effect on humans has since the second half of the 20th century been a major discussion topic of philosophy, theology, psychology, literary theory and cultural anthropology. From the pedagogical point of view the study emphasizes the reader’s involved entering the story in the spirit of so-called rehabilitation of narration in the didactic process. Physical, psychological, social and spiritual integrity of the unity of an individual existence can be attained by means of stories which allow for educational effect even in the postmodern period.
